I fear I am hopelessly naive and feel terribly ignorant.
I'm not scared or freaked out about the upcoming pain and process.
I really just want to dance and sing and play a lot.
This is bad, no?
I should be worried about baby things instead...
I think my 'freak-out' side packed up and left in fear about 8 months ago.

My theory on the pain part is like my philosophy on most inevitable things...will freaking out about it make it hurt any less? No? Well, will freaking out about it make you enjoy your *now* time any less? Yes?
Seems to me like it's a no-brainer...there's simply nothing to be gained by freaking out. What will be, will be, so enjoy every *now* moment you can, however you wish.

No you shouldn't be worried. You will be fine, the birth will go a lot more easily if you are looking forward to it, and see it as a positive thing. It's so exciting to think you finally get to MEET your BABY!!
I'm so happy you're dancing around and not worried!!! Not denial... I think it's wise to enjoy the here and now!
